For youth 13-16 years old
The Mastering Leadership for Youth Programme gives youth the opportunity to live, learn, eat and play on the campus of Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford University for six days. Participants will experience live at Oxford University, immersing themselves in the vibrant campus environment while learning about leadership and entrepreneurship. Participants will walk away with invaluable knowledge and experience that will last a lifetime, ready to stand out in today's ever changing world.
A full schedule of stimulating visits and excursion provides an authentic taste of England's rich history, culture and tradition. Personal development elements such as resilience building and effective communications are incorporated to ensure well rounded growth and greater confidence in future endeavors.

The people behind Youthfuel

Sonia Ayesha
Youthfuel Director
Sonia Ayesha is the Director of Youthfuel and also serves as a TV anchor at BERNAMA. She is an American graduate from Syracuse University, New York where she obtained a double degree in Finance & Management and was a recipient of the Skim Pelajar Cemerlang scholarship after scoring 11 A’s in the 2009 SPM examination.
She is very passionate about youth development and education and is currently working alongside Teach for Malaysia in implementing its National Tutoring Programme.

Faridah Iriani
Youthfuel Director
Faridah is an alumni of Oxford University with a Masters in Strategy & Innovation. She has functional experience in corporate innovation programmes, change management, business /performance improvement, supply chain management, complex project delivery projects, customer services improvements, project management, supplier development and technology road mapping.
Strong skills in business development & product management. Together with Sonia, she has managed the youth leadership programme in Oxford since 2017.

Prof Marianne Talbot
Critical Reasoning Expert
Professor Marianne Talbot is currently the Director of Studies in Philosophy at Oxford University's Department for Continuing Education. Marianne Talbot was thrown out of school at 15 and came back to education at 26 when she took an Open University Foundation course during which she discovered philosophy. Transferring to London University Marianne took First Class Honours then went to Oxford University to do graduate work.
She taught for Pembroke College, Oxford from 1987-1990 and for Brasenose College, Oxford from 1990-2000. Two of her podcasts (A Romp Through the History of Philosophy and The Nature of Arguments) have been global number one on iTunes U. Her podcasts have received over 3 million downloads
